Meet Our Expert Running Team
While we are active members of our local athletic and running club, we recognise that the demands of modern life can make it challenging for everyone to commit to traditional club activities. Additionally, we understand that running clubs may face limitations in catering to individual needs, especially when they have athletes competing across various distances.

At Peak Your Run, our primary goal is to support you in achieving your full potential in the distance of your choice, whether it's the 5k, 10k, half marathon, or even the full marathon.
We pride ourselves on our abilities to customise coaching options based on your specific requests and objectives. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping you become the best runner you can be.

My running journey has took place over three periods from being a good junior at school, running my first half marathon in 1985 then coming back to running in the mid nineties all over a bet that I couldn’t run a marathon. At the time I was overweight, still doing sports mainly squash and weight training.
I completed the marathon and joined my local athletics club.
After a few years I took my coaching qualifications as I wanted to coach while I was still a competitive athlete but also to show that my methods work.
As a veteran athlete I’ve won numerous county medals in road and cross country.
I represented Nottinghamshire AAA in the inter counties cross country.
On the track I’ve won the midland and British championships for a vet 50 plus winning the British masters road 5k championship for a V50 twice in 2016 and 2017.
I’ve also represented England in the home international cross country were we won team gold.
I’ve coached numerous athletes over the twenty plus years that I’ve been coaching and seeing someone achieve their ambition gives me so much pleasure.
I’ve been that runner that struggles juggling life and training.
I’ve been that runner who struggles with injuries
Creating the right balance for each individual is so important.

Began my running journey back in 2015, after retiring from a semi professional football career. Married with a young family of two, I was no longer able to maintain football commitments, so running became my new hobby to keep fit & achieve a better family / work life balance.
An appetite for racing soon followed, on realising I had some potential in this running world.
I met Paul shortly after when joining the local running club in 2016, with Pauls personalised training support & vast experience and knowledge my running performance elevated to new heights despite a hectic family life.
